Pace yourself. When scheduling your classes, don't just think of class time. Tack on an additional two hours per week, for each hour of class time.
Sign up for the computer commons on campus. For a nominal fee you can use th college computers for school related work all semester. It's a great environment in which to get projects donel It's quiet and the printers always work.
Talk to your instructors. Your teachers want to see you succeed. Visit them during office hours, call or email if you are unsure of an assignment.
Utilize the Learning Support Centers. They offer FREE assistance in most classes. A tutor can really improve your success rate. Some campuses even offer online tutoring.
Find a buddy for each class. By exchanging your email addresses or phone numbers you can keep in touch with a fellow student in case you miss a class or don't understand an assignment.
Join a club! Many colleges have clubs geared to adult re-entry students. Great way to meet people and support each other.
Stay healthy. Being on campus you may find it easier than ever to fit in exercise. Most colleges have fitness centers that you can use for a nominal fee. There are instructors on site to help you make the most of your workout.
